Demise of the chopper

Well, I finally made the decision to part out my chopper project. When I first started it I didn’t know much about motorcycles and I thought that it was what I wanted. After having not touched it in over a year due to spending all my time and money on sportbikes, I finally admitted to myself that a CB750 Chopper isn’t the bike I really want. This was a really had decision for me because I really sunk a lot of time and money into that project, but it’s really not what I’m into anymore.

I started posting parts for sale on eBay. I’m definitely going to keep the motor, but everything else chopper related is going up on the block. I realized that although I don’t really want a chopper to cruise around on, at nicely customized CB750 would be pretty rad. And I’ve got everything I need to put one together. I have the whole original bike disassembled in my garage. Once I get some money rolling in from the chopper parts I’ll start with the frame. Powdercoat silver, I think…

Yeah, I just realized that this wasn’t my dream bike anymore. I’m more into the standards and sport riding. I’m really excited about the new CD175!
