I got up at 7am yesterday and hit the road up to Malibu. I was riding solo, so I brought the camera and decided to take my time to snap a bunch of pictures. Saturday mornings are what I look forward to all week long. I have such a busy schedule that my rides are the ONLY time I have completely to myself. It’s my chance to get out and do something just for me – to clear my head, relax, and get back on focus.
The landscape in Malibu is just beautiful. The route I like to ride is Mullholland from Topanga Canyon, over to Stunt Road.
I go up Stunt, over to Piuma Canyon, down to Las Virgines.
Take Las Virgines back up to Mullholland over to the Rock Store.
Grab a Gatorade or some breakfast, then continue up Mullholland to Encinal Canyon.
Encinal down to PCH.
PCH north to Leo Carrillo beach and then you can take Mullholland all the way back to Topanga.
