Clip-ons are the way to go!

Well, I got my Vortex clip-on bars and Pazzo Racing shorty levers installed the other night. I also had my fork seals & oil replaced. Got up early today and went on a ride with Michael up the Angeles Crest & Angeles Forest highways. I can’t even begin to describe the difference in my bike’s handling. I used to have a CBR F2 so I’ve ridden in a ‘sport’ position plenty, but this was just incredible. It was like riding on glass. The low clip-ons gave me a feeling of control that I haven’t felt before. I found myself riding more confidently than ever. About 5 miles up the canyon I realized that my butt had hardly touched the seat at all. I was up on the balls of my feet, moving to either side of the bike through the corners and flowing from position to position. I’m more excited than ever about the idea of doing a track day. I’m going to have to do that soon…
